Pizza Dough

1T. sugar
1t. salt
1T. shortening
1c. boiling water
1T. (pkg.) yeast, dissolved in 1/4c. lukewarm water
3c. flour

Mix sugar, shortening, and salt in boiling water, cool to lukewarm.  Add yeast mixture, then half the flour and mix well.  Stir in remaining flour until dough is manageable enough to knead (use more if needed).  Grease and flour pizza pan, then spread dough and add toppings.  Bake at 425℉ for 15-20 min. or until cheese starts to brown.

**To speed things up, dissolve sugar, shortening, and salt in 1/2c. boiling water, then add 1/2c. cold water to make lukewarm.
